<p>so my dad turned in all the fafsa information back in january but i just checked and apparently it's incomplete because we didn't sign it. so there's this huge hassle with the pin and i forgot it so i tried to retrieve it but i didn't know the challenge question was case-sensitive, so now it said my pin is locked...? idk what to do, the deadline's tomorrow, can anyone help me sign the stupid fafsa thing? it's getting kind of old</p>
<p>i don’t know what happens when it gets locked. I would try calling FAFSA. They are very nice and helpful. You and your parent (only one) need to sign the FAFSA with a pin. Call fafsa and see what to do next. Good luck to you!</p>

<p>Make sure to get a different PIN for both you and your parent, and sign with both.</p>
<p>i got an incomplete email too. except mine says that i need to verify my tax return information using the IRS data retrieval tool. when i first submitted it, i thought that using the tool was optional and my parents recently filed their taxes so it was not on their database yet, so i just entered their info myself based on the paperwork.
i filed my FAFSA on March 1, and got it processed on March 2, but now i got that email saying that it’s incomplete and i need to turn it in by May 15th, is it considered late to the UCs and cal states i’m applying to since they said their deadline was March 2?<br>
my parents filed jointly on Feb. 27th. i just checked with my mom’s pin code and they still haven’t got their tax info yet, guess i’ll check again after a few days…</p>
