FAFSA Log-In Help?!

I am trying to start a FAFSA application from the website and am having trouble logging in. Every time I put my SSN in, it's giving me the error:

"You have entered an invalid response for "Student's Social Security Number". Delete the response you entered and then select the field to see valid responses for this question."

But my SSN is correct! On the "help and hints" section to the right it says to put it in a format without dashes, and I've tried both with dashes (which is how the system fixes it to be when I press enter) and without, and can't seem to login.

Any help?

That is odd, because there is no reason for that. Are you entering a 9-digit number? Are you absolutely sure you are entering it correctly? I don’t remember if the number shows up on the screen or not (sometimes when you enter a SSN it’s all black dots for your security) … do you actually see the numbers?

Make sure you don’t have Caps Lock on. Also, if you are using the numbers pad, make sure that Num Lock is on.

Also, check to make sure that you are allowing the add-in to run. If none of these suggestions work, clear your cache, close your browser, then restart the process.
