According to their website(https://fafsa.ed.gov/help/fotwfaq63.htm) to add a college, you need to make a correction - however you can not make any corrections until your application is processed.
I submited mine early this morning, but it is not yet processed. The FAFSA deadline for my colleges is February 15. Will I be able to submit in time?
You have to wait until the FAFSA pricesses to go in and make the changes to add your additional colleges.
Are you saying that all of the remaining schools have feb 15 deadlines?
It’s possible that your FAFSA will process by Sunday. You just need to keep checking to see.

I called and spoke to a rep about the same issue and he assured me that the colleges will accept the date you filed your FAFSA with the government as the official date. Regardless your file should be processed by Saturday, but you still will not be able to make changes online for a day or two after that. Call FAFSA and a rep will be able to make the change. The way a supervisor explained to me is when your initial file is processed, a transaction is created, and all schools on that list get a copy.If you need to send it to more than 10 schools, then you need to delete the initial 10 you sent it to and add the additional schools.
Akin99. What you wrote is partially correct. To add colleges, one needs to wait until the FAFSA is PROCESSED. However, I don’t believe a FAFSA helpline person can make that happen if it hasn’t happened.
My application is still listed as processing and it does not allow me to make any edits. Looks like I’ll have to call them tomorrow.
Just check again tomorrow. It might process by then.
