My daughter has (of course) more than 10 schools which is all that FAFSA allows. I called them and the woman I spoke with said to wait a few days while this gets processed ( I should get an email). Then, go back to the FAFSA and erase all of the first ones and type in the others.
I apologize it this has been addressed ad nauseam somewhere else. This advice makes me nervous!! My daughter is doing mostly acting BFA’s but just a few MT’s.Financial aid very important here- might anyone have knowlege or experience with this? Thank you …
That really is what you have to do. It’s been 5 years since we did it with D1, but about to have to do it with D2. I’m sure someone who’s done it more recently can give you specifics, but once the information is sent to the school, they have it, and then you can add the next schools. I am NOT looking forward to this…
I would check with the first 10 schools to make certain that they have uploaded the info before removing them and adding others. Remember, the deadline to submit for FA is later than other deadlines so, for instance, if you have a school on the list and your child is denied a pre-screen, you can remove that school and substitute another.
I did that exact thing last year, with no issues. Just in case there was an issue, I made the first 10 schools the most expensive, out of state ones. Then, once some time had passed (December, perhaps?) I deleted a few schools and added the ones that didn’t make the original form.
Yup! ^ What they said.
