Do any of these schools require either form to be considered for merit scholarships (non-need based) as I have heard of some that require it to be considered for merit scholarships. I know we will not be considered for need based aid as my parents make over 200k. I don't want to burden my dad, so i just want to know if there is any need to fill them out.

since I am in a good mood I picked a few schools to research even though I know that several of the schools you listed above- do NOT offer any merit aid
but here are the three I looked up for you-
however because of unforseen circumstances- I think it is often advisable to apply for FAFSA- you may run across outside scholarships which require it & if your families circumstance changes- you will be well ahead of the game if you have already applied for FAFSA

Ohio state does offer several merit awards- it looks like at Ohio- if you are not applying for any need based aid- you don't have to fill out the FAFSA

Washington University also has merit awards and because they are competitions rather than need based- it looks like the application procedure doesn't require FAFSA

Amherst doesn't award any merit scholarships- all awards are based on financial need.
