<p>To all parents or to those who already filled out the FAFSA, do you have to write down the info from the 2010w-2 report from his personal accountant?
Where do you get the info to fill this out??</p>

<p>You receive a W-2 from your employer(s) for the year that will report your earnings, taxes paid, etc. You use the W-2 to fill out and file your taxes (along with other tax related forms you might receive, like a 1099, a 1098-T, reports of dividends, etc.). You use your estimated or completed tax form to file the FAFSA. If you are a dependent, your FAFSA reports both your parents’ income and your income (if any).</p>
<p>By the way, your employer(s) must mail 1099s by January 31 at the latest.</p>
