For household size, it says "Other people if 1) they now live with your parents, 2) your parents provide more than half of their support, and 3) your parents will continue to provide more than half of their support from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014"

I have 2 in college and a son graduating from grad school in June. (not a dependent) He lives with us now and I have no idea of his job prospects in 2013. I of course hope he will get a fulltime job and be self-supporting, but do I put him down as a person we are supporting or not since it's a question mark for now. For now, food, car/health insurances, etc. come from us. He pays for gas (300.00 a month) clothes, car repairs, things like that.
I am probably over-thinking this because I'm tired, but I wanted to ask others.

He can be included in the household size if you continue to support his insurance, food and housing, which probably will count for more than half of his expenses.

I was told by the financial aid counselors that if you have to estimate, estimate according to your benefit.

Adding one person in your household size may not make much difference in your EFC. This is my conclusion after I compared my EFC with my friend’s EFC (whose financial situation is similar to mine with one kid less than mine).

That’s what I thought, I didn’t want to do the worst case scenario but if he doesn’t find full time work, he will be still living here. I don’t think one college counts him anyway, but I didn’t want to be dishonest.
