FAFSA Question

Hi everyone,
I have received aid from my school, but I have been selected for verification, so I have to send my Federal Verification Worksheet and do the Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA website, but I have a couple of problems.
I am a US citizen, but I have been living in South America for the past 4 years, in high school. I receive an American eduction and diploma as I would back in the US. My parents live here too, and have not lived in the US for a very long time. My parents support me.

These worksheets and the tool i must complete all ask me for tax information from the US and such, but my parents are not citizens of the US and have not lived in the US for a very long time. I am not sure how to go through with this because I really need the aid, but I am not able to complete these documents.

Any help as to how to continue would be greatly appreciated, and I would be glad to answer any questions that could help me thank you!

Please ask the school financial aid office what you need to do to comply with the verification request. Your situation is unusual, and they would be in the best position to advise you as to what they need.
