NEVER did I say my friend went to UW. I said she received a certain financial aid status.

WOOOW you guys are ALL WRONG. My friend did not go to UW. I’m not going there because of her. Wow… she goes to UCI. Don’t assume ANYTHING I haven’t said. I said she RECEIVED that financial aid. Never did I say she went.

Like I said, costs don’t mean much to me since I am paying it all for myself, might as well go where I want and has a good program for my major.

It was one question. For the major essay. Not the required essays. Those are different. It was just asking to make sure. What, I can’t confirm anything without being scrutinized anymore?

So more than half of you are assuming things I haven’t even said and are giving me the information I DON’T need.

And two. I’m going to be a TRANSFER student. Thus my loans are actually going to be less than a full four years. It will only be for TWO years.

Good luck!
You’re right, costs don’t mean much to you since you will be paying it all for yourself.
Based on your FAFSA EFC, even if you have an EFC of $0, I don’t think UW will give, either you or your parents, $100,000 in loans, so it’ll be interesting where you find a job that pays that kind of money while you go to school.

Uhhh . . . so how exactly did she RECEIVE that financial aid if she didn’t attend that school? I’m guessing that what you meant to say is that she was “offered” that financial aid, not that she “received” it.

Clarity of speech tends to reflect clarity of thought. I don’t see either here. So, best of luck to you . . . you’re going to need it!
