FAFSA Question

Mmmkay. So the priority deadline for the 08-09 FAFSA for my college's summer school was yesterday (the 17th) and I just found my W2s from that year. I had guessed I made $850 (because I couldn't find my W2 or tax return when I filled out the FAFSA), but I really made $982.

So my question is..is $82 so much of a difference that I need to make corrections to it? Because I'm afraid that if I make corrections past the 17th, I won't have made the priority deadline.

*edit…

Is $132 that much of a difference?

wow. bad math. and I’m a comp sci major XD

It will probably not make any difference as the amount is well below the protected income allowance for a student. your FAFSA is supposed to accurately reflect your income so you are supposed to correct it. And if you are verified you will have to correct it. You could ask the school if it would affect your having met the deadline. it shouldn’t.

Yeah I’ll just e-mail the fin aid office. They’re a little slow on responses though. Oh well.
