<p>This may be a silly question, but should I select 2009-10 or 2010-11 for the school year section for FAFSA? I've read a couple sources on this topic, but answers seem to vary a bit.</p>

<p>I am a collegebound senior in high school applying for the fall semester. Should I select 2009-10 or 2010-11?</p>

<p>If you are applying for aid for the 2010-2011 school year, that is the FAFSA you would select. Students starting college this coming fall…2010…would do the 2010-2011 FAFSA.</p>

<p>2009-2010 is the CURRENT year.</p>
