Hi.. I was wondering that when applying to FAFSA.. would it affect if I have a student job? I'm currently a high school senior graduating next year in may 2014. Also, another question.

Currently, I am doing dual credit which means I go to high school and to a community college too. i think i am done with my first year of college.. but i dont understand what tuition means.. i plan to enroll at TWU

is the tuition separately from the charge of classes? if you could explain this, i would greatly appreciate it

Tuition is what you pay for your classes. Some schools charge a set fee fir a semester of classes. Some charge by the number of credit hours you are taking. Many schools, especially publics, charge high fees based on your classes as well.

A dependent student has a certain amount of protected income before their income will affect financial aid. It is currently around $6000.

When you complete FAFSA the first time, you will not complete it as having completed one year of college. You will complete it as first time attending college.

File your FAFSA as soon as possible on or after January 1 EVERY YEAR starting next year. Since your parents’ taxes will not be done near January 1, the FAFSA will tell you to enter estimated numbers, then update the FAFSA AS SOON AS taxes are finished.
