Once a FAFSA is submitted, it says it can take 2 weeks. What is the average time you have all experienced. They only permit you to send to 10 schools. If you have more, you need to wait to submit the rest until the first batch is processed. Thus, curious to see how long it is CURRENTLY taking.</p>
<p>If I then need to correct this version, I guess that can be done while sending in the next batch of colleges. (Finally got the actual form in mail needed for taxes).</p>
<p>Not sure why the government limits it to 10 colleges.</p>

<p>1 day for me, which was great.</p>
<p>How do you know when it is processed? Is it when you get your EFC because this number came up immediately?</p>
<p>They sent me an email saying so.</p>
<p>I am just going to recycle an older thread rather than start a new one.</p>
<p>I have submitted my FAFSA on Saturday so theoretically it should be processed by the end of today (tomorrow the latest)?</p>
<p>Also once the FAFSA is processed it is sent to all the schools I listed correct? I understand that the school might not download immediatley though (I will just contact their respective Financial Aid office to check they have downloaded mine).</p>
