FAFSA Verification Stuff

So I did the whole FAFSA verification stuff for UCI and they already received all the stuff. I just have a few questions:

  1. After using the IRS retrieval tool, my EFC is still the same and the numbers are still the same compared to when I haven't use the tool, when UCI finally post my awards, will the amount change? like lower or higher, or will it stay the same? Basically my question is that will doing the verification thing affect my aids and awards amount?
  2. Is it normal for a UC to post the award in mid-July-August (I think it is the final?) after they receive my verification forms and supporting documents? My e-sign form and the tax info are still under reviewed
