<p>I have been selected for verification. I have all my docs submitted. But I still have not received a financial aid award letter from my school and tuition for fall semester is due on the 13th. I called my school's fin aid office and I was informed that if i still do not have an award letter but the 13th then I'll have to pay a fee. (Which isn't a huge deal.) I spoke with a few people in the office and each gave me a different answer as to how long the verification process takes.</p>

<p>I am still getting worried since classes start in 3 weeks! Does anyone know how long the verification process takes? My financial aid office failed to inform me earlier that I was selected. I just found out two weeks ago. </p>

<p>I don't know if this makes a difference, but I attend a small liberal arts uni in California. </p>

<p>Your FAFSA SAR should have indicated you were selected for verification unless the school selected you themselves. Did you ever use the FAFSA Data Retrieval Tool to update your fafsa with actual tax info? Generally there are other forms the school will require for verification too. Did they tell you they have all the info they need for verification? If not, call back and see if there is more they need from you.</p>

<p>Never mind. I just received my award letter. Now i wish is didn’t receive it! Tuition increased. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: </p>
