Fafsa

<p>Hi guys I have a fafsa question. I'm a little confused on how it works. Like if I pay my tuition for college..then fill out fafsa..do i receive some of my paid money back?</p>

<p>Typically you would complete and submit FAFSA before the school’s priority aid deadline for the following academic year. Then the FA office can package your awards, which may include loans that you can either accept or decline. If you wait until after the semester starts to complete your FAFSA chances are good that any campus-based aid will be long gone.</p>

<p>If you are currently a student and did not complete the 2010-2011 FAFSA, you can still do so, and you could be issued a Stafford loan.</p>

<p>Sk8rmom is correct…in most cases, Students complete the FAFSA NOW for the upcoming school year. Then you know what your financial aid is BEFORE you make a college choice (if you are an incoming freshman) or before the upcoming year (for financial payment/planning purposes.</p>
