Maybe somebody here knows: Got my EFC number back from FAFSA, but is this what my family is expected to pay for just me, or total EFC for me and my sister (still in college)?

Did you sent the profile supplements? They said at the end that GW wanted your parents tax returns and W2's. Do they want them before they make their decision?

I read somewhere that if you don't already have one and you get over a 3.7 GW offers you a 12,000 dollar scholarship once a year. Does that mean that they will just consider you or do they give you the scholarship automatically? (That would really help out) Does anybody know more about this program?

caffiend- yep, that's the program, but it goes into effect junior year. That's if you got no scholarship money before (which is pretty rare) .

From the site:

"Presidential Awards for Continuing Students
Continuing GW students who have completed 30 semester hours with at least a 3.7 cumulative grade point average and who did not receive a scholarship or award at the time of their admission are eligible for a $12,000 scholarship. Students are reviewed for this scholarship once a year in May. The scholarship is based on the two most recent semesters, excluding the summer session."
