Fafsa

Completing the FAFSA does not guarantee that you will receive money - in-state or out of state. What the FAFSA does is calculate an EFC (Expected Family Contribution) based on your answers that schools use to determine what types of financial aid you will be eligible for.

If you do have an EFC between 0-4110 then you will be eligible for Pell Grant and a maybe a few other grants (ACG/SMART) that have additional stipulations.

Talk to a financial aid officer at the school you are looking at to attend for further information.
