<p>Yes…your aid at one school does NOT transfer to another school. You need to file the financial aid applications the new school requires. If you were eligible for things like the Pell, and Stafford loans, those will be awarded to you. Institutional aid will NOT transfer from one school to the other. If you are changing schools at this point, it is unlikely that limited funded financial aid is still available (e.g. Perkins loans). </p>
<p>Also keep in mind that some schools don’t even award institutional aid to transfer students. Check the finaid website for the new school you plan to attend…all the info…and the DEADLINES will be there.</p>
