<p>At the college I work at, we are required to notify the registrar of the last day a student attended class. We withdraw stduents after they have missed the equivalent of two weeks of class.</p>
<p>The federal gov't, and I'm guessing state gov't too, want to know this, and if the student does not attend up to a certain point in the semester, they will ask the school for the money back. I don't know if that works that way in your state, but you better find out if you are still considered a full-time student by your college.</p>
