Failed 2 quarters at SC, need to transfer.

I'm currently a student at University of California Santa Cruz. I have spent the past two quarters at this school. I was a transfer from a CCC college in the bay area. I have 61.5 semester units from my community college. And have taken 25 quarter units over here. During the first quarter I failed a class and barely passed with a C in my other class. This quarter I have a feeling that I'm going to fail all three of classes.

Anyways, straight to the point, I have to transfer to a different school. Because I can't get accepted into my desired major (economics) over here. So I was wondering what I should do at this point in order to transfer to a Csu or another Uc?
I've talked with my general adviser several times, and he suggested that I contact the school I want to transfer to directly. I know that I need to make up the classes I failed, but I don't know what to do after that. Is there a way to transfer directly to another quarter system school instead of waiting until November? I don't want to waste another year at CCC.. Help.

P.s. I want to transfer Asap.

You’re taking the minimum number of units to qualify as a full time student and are barely passing or failing your classes. Have you considered that it might be a good idea to take some time off to figure out what the problem is and work at fixing it before returning to college?

I’ve thought about all that. And I know the reasons why I did so poorly. Now the only question I need answered is how to get back on track, which is why I’m on this forum. I’ve sent emails to csu and uc but they haven’t responded. I don’t want to waste anymore time, I just want to continue fresh at a new school.

(Tough love here) Dude you were given the keys the UC system. I would think long and hard before giving them back. How many hours a night are you studying? Hopefully at least four, but six is better. You’re only in class on average three hours a day, leaving plenty of time for study. Pound the books, Do what it takes. A UC education is a great gift. Please keep it. BTW a business degree with an emphasis in econ is almost as good.

What classes were they? I’m also an Econ major; I’m transferring there in the fall. Any feedback?

does anyone have a real answer?

Real answer? You’ll most likely have to wait until the next application period to transfer again. Like the counselor said, you’ll have to call the specific UC/CSU you want to transfer to as they all have different requirements within majors. Some won’t accept you at all (CPP/SDSU/etc.) since they’re so impacted right now and some will just tell you to apply again for winter.

If it is too late to withdraw without an F on your transcript, get yourself into your professors offices TODAY and get some help so that you can pull those grades up out of the F range. Your current GPA will make it very difficult to transfer anywhere, and also may mess up your access to financial aid.
