I am currently at borderline for one of my classes this quarter and I’m scared that I might not pass. If I don’t pass the class this quarter and the class isn’t available this summer (if I need to, I will take it next fall), is it still possible to apply for TAG? I met all the requirements except for “maintaining a C or higher”. Also, will it affect my chances in getting into a UC?

What class, and major? What UCs? What’s your GPA?
It’s physics. I’m a bio major and planning to apply to Davis, Irvine, and Santa Barbara. I have a 3.4 gpa at the moment.
In terms of Davis, you need to get the grade to a C by summer. Here’s the Davis TAG for 2017:

It could affect TAG. You could try academic renewal. Each campus may have different criteria so you need to check.
TAG anyway in September, and know that you can still get in through regular admission too.
Thank you for the heads up! So if I were to pass the class in the fall and continue to do well throughout next school year, I will still have a slight chance getting in right? This is including a well written answer for the personal insight questions and extracurricular?
