Failed IB Getting into Pace University

If I failed to get 24 points in IB, would my acceptance be rescinded?
lets say.. if i got 23. would they still nullify my acceptance?

As far as I know, most US college offers are conditional on your GPA. Your IB score has nothing to do with it.
However, you simply would’ve wasted:

 1. The possibility of receiving college credit.
 2. The past two years of hard work.
 3. The ton of money to register for the courses and exams.

It’s only the start of the exams, study hard, don’t fail. ;)

I agree with 000ace000

Well, correct me if I’m wrong but IB programs send those test grades in place of “GPA’s” because they don’t have them, right? I have a friend in an IB program in Hong Kong right now, and I think that’s what he told me.

What he also said is that since the IB program doesn’t go by grades, bombing the tests could have that affect, but more than likely it’ll just make them wary about accepting other IB students.

Well, anyway, just do well if you haven’t taken it yet lol. Study so you don’t have to worry about that!

I don’t know how it works internationally. But for most IB programs in the US, the IB transcript is sent to the college that you will be attending for the purpose of receiving college credit, if your college will give it. But they also send a transcipt of your final senior grades and colleges will only rescind for bad grades in your classes, not bad IB test scores.

Thanks for your comments guys,
I went ahead and checked out the ibo website and they said that there is “no minimum ib score required” for acceptance.
Does that mean that i can just get in with my ib certificates then???

BUMP is anyone there :)

yes, as we have already answered, it will not factor into admission, only credit.
if you want to be an opportunist and give up the past two years of work for that reason, so be it.
