Failed my first class in senior year of college

I am in an extremely uncomfortable situation. I have failed my first class ever at Stony Brook University. I believe that I am only one or two points away from passing with a D. I was scheduled to graduate in May 2010. I already have a salaried job offer from my current employer and an interview with General Dynamics. The professor is a very strict one and is reluctant to atleast pass me. He is the type who follows the rules of the book word by word and will not even budge. I do not need to worry about my GPA because I have plenty of experience in hand. How many college students do you know that are under 24, working towards a degree (electrical engineering) and already have the job title "Engineer" ? I passed a class with a 36% this semester. This professor gave me 33.70 % and failed me. I think that 35 is the cutoff. Both classes were curved. The guy who passed me has a higher class average than the guy who failed me. Both curve their classes. Why are some professors so strict ? How can I plead to this guy to atleast pass me ? I have already sent him 3 e-mails pleading, but to no avail. Please give me some suggestions so that I can pass this class, graduate in May and start my early career. The class I failed is offered fall only. This is the worse time in my life and I want to graduate college in 5 years. I cannot afford staying there for one more semester. I even suggested a request for an incomplete grade, but he so far has not replied.
