Failed one semester at CC - chances to engineering?

Hi all,
I currently am in my third semester at community college. I had a GPA of 3.51 overall. This semester I have failed two courses, second level chemistry and first level physics w/ calculus (aka University Physics). I have never before failed a course, not even received a C.
The reason - After working full time, passing away of my grandmother, and the end to an abusive relationship that happened during the semester, I felt overwhelmed but believed I'd be able to pass.

Unfortunately I didn't. I received an A in economics only because it was during the first 8 weeks. I also received a C in second level calculus.

This semester will put me on academic probation and also bring my GPA down to 2.8 at the least.

I live in Virginia. Are there any colleges or universities that will take this gpa for biomedical engineering? Or any engineering for that matter. Especially since I failed two courses?
I desperately need advice. I had a panic attack twice this week because I feel so helpless.

I am confident that next semester I will do better and improve my grades but I would like to graduate since I already have 75 credits and most universities only accept 60.

Any advice is welcome.
Thanks.
