Failed to meet the TAMU deadline for documents

Hi everyone,

I recently checked my Texas A&M University's application status and was screwed up to see a notification which said,"Your application file is deemed 'not complete at deadline' and you will not be considered for admission. Your application file is missing a required credential or a required credential was received after the closing date. " I further checked that my High school transcripts were received late.
NOW,

First of all, I am an International student and there are a lot of delays in processing the school transcripts as in my country there is no transcript system. Secondly, While applying i did not see any type of notification to keep in mind that there is also a deadline for transcripts(Are you serious?). I applied to TAMU on the 31st of November 2013 and in my status it said that all the documents should be sent( hard copies) to the office by 1st December. Thirdly, Even if I apply before that, I could not meet the deadline as it takes time(atleast 4 days) for a courier service to deliver my documents to the university.
Now my questions are-:
1. Should I question it to the University Office?
2. Will they consider my application in the wait-list?

If you applied the day before the deadline, it makes sense that your documents would have been late… You really should have given yourself time to get all of that stuff in before the deadline (you couldn’t have applied a week earlier? why?). Unfortunately, you’re probably out of luck.

When they say you will not be considered, I’m pretty sure that means you will not be considered–including wait-list.

Hey,
Like I mentioned that I could not see any deadline for the documents. It ONLY said that the deadline for the online application is 1st December 2013. And my documents reached there by 7th(to be precise)!
I was really raged up to see this kind of status.
