Ok so I’m about to finish my freshman year of college. My first semester i did fairly well. I had about a 3.4 and have 12 credits. This semester I took 15 credits, but I am pretty sure i failed or only got a D in two classes, a 4 credit and a 3 credit. Can anyone tell me how this affects me moving forward?
I’m also transferring to another school next semester so I assume the transfer will help a bit being that my GPA will not transfer. I just need some advice moving forward and what to expect. Thanks.
Some schools want their transfers to have left their previous schools in good standing (with a 2.0 overall). You didn’t mention your other grades so hopefully your overall GPA is 2.0 or better.
My other grades this semester are both B’s.
What changes in your behavior are planning at your new school so that your grades will be better?
Expect to have to retake those classes you failed.
Can you take the classes at a community college this summer?
The college you are transferring into accepted you based on your first semester grades. You need to make sure they won’t rescind your admission.
