I went overboard with my schedule this year, and took 6 AP classes, 2 of which are online.
I have great grades in the AP classes I’m taking at school, high As for each, but I fell very behind in my online classes.
The two online AP classes I’m taking are AP Statistics and AP Computer Science A.
At this point, I’m about halfway through the first semester for each online class, and I have until April 28th till the end of the course.
My GPA technically won’t even drop that much, because my other grades will keep me high enough that I’ll drop to only about 4.405 weighted, 3.485 unweighted (right now I’m at about a 4.563 for the in-state scale (SC UGP), 3.660 unweighted), but I’m still worried I screwed my chances of going to Clemson.
I know I won’t do so great on the AP Exams, but I might be able to wing my way through the courses and get at least a passing grade in them.
At this point my only excuse for falling this far behind is the depression and anxiety I’ve been feeling this year, and my grades just add on to all of that.
Do you think they’d still rescind my acceptance if I got like a 70 in those 2 online AP classes?
Is it certain that they would even rescind my acceptance if I failed one or both of those classes?
