Failing a Class Senior Year Second Semester

Does anyone know how it would affect me if I fail a class thats not a requirement? If i got accepted into uci or ucd would they kick me out for failing second semester?

The UC admission offer is conditional on getting no Ds or Fs your second semester. If you do end up failing a class, you MAY be able to work something out, but it’s not something you should bet on.

If it’s required for you to graduate from high school, it’s still a requirement. If it’s not required, and you’re failing, can you possibly drop it?

I am bumping this thread so someone can answer that question^^

Is improving your grade a possibility?

They’d probably rescind. I was failing a class too, even with weekly tutoring. I took the best option for me, however- I dropped, and enrolled in the class on the districts online class. Now I’m passing just fine.

Decide if it’s you, the material, or the teacher- and how much of each it is. I’m terrible at math, so a lot of it was me and the material, but when I went from an F in class, to a B online, I figured a whole lot more of it was the teacher.

And now I’m not failing. See if you can do something similar, or get tutoring.

They can and likely would rescind your admission. Consider dropping it; if you can’t, do everything in your power to get that grade to a C.
