Failing a class?

I know this is probably a ridiculously stupid question. But how bad does failing a class look? When I say fail I don't mean a B or a C or a D. I mean legit E/F.

Math has always been my weak point - I haven't gotten a B in math since freshman year. But in my last year as a senior I'm taking an honors math class for the first time - Calc and its just too difficult for me. This whole semester has been because I've been dealing with extraneous circumstances at home.

If I bring it up second semester and take Calc at my community college during the summerto make up for it, will the schools I apply to even care? Or will they revoke me asap? Should I even bother?

listen schools won't just throw away ur app for that.

i also hav had B/C in math but im pretty good with languages. surely u hav somthin else to offer too.

what's done is done. work hard. giv ur best. take those extra classes. dnt giv up.

it depends on where you're applying. The UC system (Berkeley, UCLA, etc) has revoked kids who got a D or F.

Most schools int he top 40-50 will revoke your app if you recieve a failing grade
