failing a classes at cc

I recieved two D's in an econ class. I retook it at another cc for the third time and recieved an A. my problem was that i took it online the first two times. i have a pretty high gpa, unless those 2 first grades count in my gpa. when i apply to transfer to a uc does that bring down my gpa ? and how bad does it look on my application?

Ask your Community College if the Ds will appear on the CC transcript. If so, I might advise simply not sending in your transcript.

But in either case, I doubt that colleges really care about what you did at Community College. It's not like you get a class rank, so they can't judge what an A or B means at your particular community college. And they probably realize that taking classes on the side isn't feasible for low income students.

^ it seems this person is cc student transfering to a UC.. so the transcript and grades do matter for transfer admissions.

Ask if your passing grade can substitute for the failing grades and if not, whether those failing grades will count.
