Failure to Transfer a Course

Hey guys... I thought about this today and wondered if it was possible.

I took a class at a community college this summer so I wouldn't have to take it during the school year at my university. (I got an B in the class, so I'm not asking this because I want to do it... lol). The credits transfered fine, and I had the transcript sent to my university so I could fill the course requirement.

My question is, though, if someone takes a course at another institution and gets an F, could you just not send the transcript to your main university? Is there anything against doing that? And if your college found out, could they do anything?

I guess it would be a failure to report a failure, so to speak :P

IDK about whether you need to submit the transcript to your current university.

However, if you later decide to transfer, you need to report every course you have taken at every college or university… even if just one summer course. Most transfer schools will want to see all transcripts (some even wanted to see the transcript from one college course my S took during the summer while he was still a hs student). Some won’t care about such a transcript, but they do require you to report every one - good, bad and ugly.
