My S is considering Fairfield for Engineering. The school is highly rated in general and for Business, but I'd welcome any insight and opinions on the Engineering program in particular. He is also considering Rutgers, TCNJ, Stevens, NJIT, & Penn State. Thanks.

I have the same question. Any info on the engineering department would be great. My son got accepted into their dept but is also considering Rowan university which has a very good engineering dept. In reply to you, my son looked at NJIT and loved it but it’s in a very bad area- we would never let him go there. Stevens is top notch but hard to get in. TCNJ - great school but a suitcase school - lots of kids leave campus on the weekends. Rutgers - another great school if you like a big school. My son doesn’t want a school where he has to take a bus to class. I hope this helped and I hope someone answers us about the engineering at Fairfield. We went there on Friday and he really liked it. Heading back to Rowan on Saturday then will make is decision. Good luck!
just to clarify–TCNJ NOT a suitcase school at all. Plenty goings on every weekend. Just built more dorms and more dorms to provide for the increasing demand/popularity. That doesn’t add up to suitcase . 97% of freshman live on campus.
@Dukes04 Which engineering program did your son choose?
