i am an international student . my friend has manipulated his transcript , and has got the stamp and signatures of the principal . he has created a fake counselor ID extremely similar to the one used at school , fake letters of rec with stamp . the documents are exactly the same as the originals (with fake grades obviously ). he wants to apply to ivies . UIUC . UC . purdue . georgia tech , stanford , MIT .
provided he gets SAT scores to match his marks and letters of rec ,whats the chances he gets caught cheating ?
Very high. Most schools also require official transcripts sent from the principals office
Why? Do you want him to do the same for you, and you’re evaluating risk? He has a 100% chance of getting caught if you notify the universities. How does he plan to cheat on the SAT to get matching scores?
I get sick of all the cheating by internationals trying to get to the USA. I hosted a high school exchange student from Pakistan once who was here through a U.S. government scholarship she applied for and won over many other applicants. After she arrived I discovered she had lied about every single thing on her application to study abroad. Trust me, I didn’t host her long – nor did the next family that tried to take over, and she wound up back in her home country humiliated.
Cheating will come to light eventually for many liars out there, and they will suffer the consequences imposed by society. For the rest, they have to live with their guilty conscience and not enjoy what it’s like to actually earn their awards and opportunities.
