Faking GPA?

Hello,

I study in Europe and would like to apply to ivy league schools. I would say my chances are good but i dont know wheather my GPA is not gonna ruin them.

Can I just fake my GPA? how do they check it? Do they doubble-check at my school(remember it is more difficult for them as I do not belong in the USA educational program)? Do I need to fake my report paper? Do tehy even want me to send them some papers just like my report one with my application?

Thank you.

Please forget all the blames, that cheating is bad. I know that myself. I am more asking what are the threads of it. I am not saying I will do it:-)

Your school sends the transcript of your academic performance. You do not send it. In fact, the universities will not accept the transcript if you send it. It must come from your school with your school’s official stamp on it. Unless you figure out a way to “hack” into your school’s computer and change your grades (and indeed this has been done!), you can’t “fake” your GPA.

From the moment you are thinking about faking your GPA, I am convinced that you are not Ivy League material.

Misrepresentation of Credentials
"Occasionally, a candidate for admission will make inaccurate statements or submit false material in connection with his or her application. In most cases, these misrepresentations are discovered during the admission process and the applicant is denied admission. If a misrepresentation is discovered after a candidate has been admitted, the offer of admission normally will be withdrawn.

If a misrepresentation is discovered after a student has registered, the offer of admission normally will be revoked and the student will be required to leave the College. If the discovery occurs after a degree has been awarded, the degree normally will be rescinded.

The determination that an application is inaccurate or contains misrepresentations rests solely with the Admissions Office and will be resolved outside the student disciplinary process."
