faking transcript...

well, i'm not saying that im going to fake my transcript, but here is my situation

I've been in UMBC for 2 years and my GPA is about 2.8. The school I want to transfer is UMCP which requires minimum 3.0 transfer GPA.

However, because of financial issue, I have to go to community college for one year or just one semester.

So If I directly transfer from community college to UMCP(not including UMBC record), are UMCP admission going to only look at my community college transcript? OR since I'm transfered from UMBC to community college, they have have my past UMBC record and when I apply to UMCP, will it go together?

and then, if I got accept to UMCP, I will show them my UMBC credits. So I don't have to retake all classes.

theyll see all your transcripts from all schools.

if your CC grades bring up your average GPA from 2.8 to 3, youll be fine

but what if I just show CC grades to UMCP? would they be able to find the past record?

Yes, they will be able to find your past record. Do you think that your CC transcript will be silent on the fact that you applied from another school?

Did you apply for any financial aid? If so, your application will show that, and they’ll see your transcript.

There is also a national database clearing house of students.

Do not attempt to disregard your UMBC transcript. They will most likely find out.
