When did you send in your COMPLETE application by? (Feel free to list separate parts ie; common app, supplement, etc.)

When do you guys plan on sending in your MIDTERM college reports?

When is a good time for someone to send in an application by to CALS? (Avoiding the rush and stuff, would you say around March 5th or a little earlier?)

When did you file/re-submit the FAFSA?

I sent in everything by the 20th of February.

I’ll probably send in my midterm towards the middle of March.

I still haven’t filed by financial aid papers. I’ll probably do it by next weekend.
On a side note, I called Cornell about financial aid papers, and apparently they are SIX WEEKS BEHIND on going through them, just from regular admissions. So they said not to rush on those, because they won’t even be able to look at them for a while.

that’s good news for me! I’m pretty sure about this, but “deadline” means it must be postmarked by that date, right? I hope I don’t have to spend extra $ to make it express…

Hmmm, I think the deadline is March 15th, I should be sending mine out by next week.

Isn’t the financial aid deadline also like March 15th?:

Deadline for financial-aid applicants to submit the CSS PROFILE application and the FAFSA to the processor. (The FAFSA may be submitted to the processor as late as May 1 for Cornell.) March 15

So we should start sending it in before that to get the best possible package right?

What happens if we do send it in before March 15th, but then later on they find out something is wrong with a document? Do we still count as people who sent it in before March 15th, or do we count as people who sent it in later now because of the problems with certain documents?

As for the topic, I submitted my standard app, sent my college transcript/HS transcript, sent my recommendation letter/counselor forms all last month. I’m doing my essay tomorrow/Tuesday and should have my supplement sent in this week.

In order to fully submit FAFSA information, do we need our Cornell IDs? My dad wanted to wait until he did his taxes for this year to do any financial aid things. He just finished all the tax work today, and I’m guessing he’ll get to the financial aid things this week for Cornell, Siena, Geneseo, and Oswego (my transfer choices.)

The reason I ask that is because I think I originally signed into my Cornell ID thing, but then when I try using my AppID now, it says incorrect. I suppose I’ll have to e-mail/call them for the information again if necessary.

If your school does a midterm report, then it is not neccessary for you to fill out hte midterm report that Cornell has on the website. You can jsut send the midterm report your school has for you.

Man it snowed here so the post office closed and I couldn’t mail in my materials :'(… So I have to send it in on wednesday because I will be in class all day tommorow.
