Wow, I’m stupid, just realized I was entering the wrong SS#, got my PID, thanks

ELTACOGRANDE,

I am not at UCLA, not a california resident. was my first choice for freshmen year, denied, lol

Thanks Taco. Yeah, so along with everyone else I’m assuming, I have a PID, a laptop icon, change of address icon, and financial aid if you applied.

Do y’all think we’ll hear on the 9th by five, or by the 9th by five…?

I was thinking the same thing, but most likely on the 9th by 5

at 5 right?

Yes at 5! Hawaiian time

can anyone tell me how to navigate to that page? i keep copying and pasting that link, or just clicking it, but i keep getting a page load error.

if your talking about application central, i think there’s something wrong with the page because I keep getting a page load error also

im not sure if its the same page youre talking about, but I mean the one everyone keeps linking to for their pid. thats the page i’ve been trying to get to, but it never works. is the application central the page where you can check your application status, because I can get to that page just fine right now

don’t worry if it hasn’t been loading. I was on the site earlier today during business hours of the university and there was a note on it that said the page may not load after hours due to typical every-day site maintenance and updates. try again after 9 am EST

ashah113, the applicant central page is not the same page where you can check your application status. Also the applicant central page is currently down. I haven’t been able to get it to load at all but once today. The time that it did load there was a message stating that the applicant central has been down since 8 something EST and will be down until further notice.

its back up!

im not sure what all this applicant central thing means…

but i couldnt get my PID number so… gosh idk what that means!

edit: actually i do have a PID but ive read on the unc site that it doesn’t really matter whether you have one or not. i guess we will have to wait!

i read on the PID site that it said having a PID is no indication of acceptance, however it does say that for undergrads PID’s are issued when you recieve your acceptance. does that only apply for first year students, or are transfer students considered in that category as well? this is ■■■■■■■■.

The PID does not mean anything, it is not an indication that you are accepted as everyone who applies is able to get a PID

We all just have to wait til April 9th

Good Luck to all!!!

i second gator2008. im antsy too, believe me, but you guys are seriously overthinking this login stuff. it obviously has no bearing whatsoever

I visited UNC this weekend, and I absolutely LOVE it! I really, really hope I get in! good luck to everyone!

mblackm8, you visited UNC this weekend?, so did I. It was quite a drive for me from florida, but it was worth it! UNC is awesome! Here’s wishing everyone the best!
