rollz I think we have to sign up b4 May 15th, usually there really good on placing transfers into housing as long as you beat the deadline

rejected. Look earlier in this thread for my stats.

yelena,
UNC is the only school I applied to… I have been out of school for a while now (because of kids) and my husband is at UNC… if I don’t get in, then I’ll have to look around to see what other options there are for me to finish up my degree. So, needless to say, I’m very hopeful that I will get in… still haven’t heard anything yet though, has anyone called this morning yet?

unc2009, I only applied to UNC. There’s an update about the admission decision on the blog:

[UNC Admissions Blog](http://unc-admissions.blogspot.com/)

No decision yet?**
It seems from the comments that there are a number of transfer students who aren’t seeing their decision online yet. If that’s the case, please don’t panic. It’s not bad news, it just means that we don’t have your decision ready yet. It’s possible that some of your materials were submitted late, or we just needed additional information before we could make a decision on your application. If you applied to one of the professional schools (Nursing, Education, Dental Hygiene, etc), your letters may arrive at a different time than the bulk of our transfer applicants who apply to the College of Arts and Sciences.

If your decision isn’t up yet, please be patient as we continue our work of reading your application. If you are concerned that we may not have received all of your application materials, you can give our office a call to check on the status of your application.

Aaaahhhhhh!!!

Julie (who is the blogger) said that it is not bad news but she didn’t say that it is good news. I hope that it is good news.

It would be really nice to know either way… I wonder how much longer we have to wait for the decisions to be posted. But, so long as we don’t know yet, I guess there is hope, right?

Jake_Tim, i looked at your stats and to me they looked good enough to get in…i must ask do you think most of the courses you took freshman year were not able to transfer or they thought you could have challenge yourself a little bit better?

I still have hope yeah. I am curious to know how many of us haven’t heard anything yet.

My decision just came up. I applied 03/14

I was accepted as a freshman
with HSGPA 3.4, 2340 SAT

the only thing that’s changed is I got a 3.6 first semester at notre dame

hope that helps

Congrats y7bbb6!

Sadly, still nothing…

Unc2009, check your homepage their might be some update for you.

I just got mine today, a few minutes ago: Rejected

bye and good luck to all of you who made it, who didn’t make it or who hasn’t have any answer yet.

I am out of CC

I’m still trying to figure out what went wrong with my application. My GPA is well above the average, I had good EC’s for working nearly full time, no letters of rec (weren’t required)…

Several people I tutor were admitted. I’m psyched for them, but don’t understand where my application was lacking.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to contact your admissions officer and ask questions? How would you approach that?

I was curious as to whether or not anyone knows about internally transferring to the Kenan-Flagler school of business. How hard is it to transfer into the school? I know I have to spend a semester at the college (I’m in as an econ major) but I’m not sure about anything more than that. Any help would be appreciated…is anyone else trying to do this as well?

JCSBERGER,

Same. In as an economics major. i think it is pretty hard to transfer in, but if you get like a 3.75 GPA for like the first semester you’re there, then you’ll be extremely competitive applicant.

…I don’t know about you but I really don’t want to be stuck as an econ major…

No i do not. I’m definitely gonna talk to Kenan-Flagler very soon about how well I need to perform in order to transfer into Kenan-Flagler second semester.

It isn’t that tough to get into KF. My roomate got in and I think he had around a 3.4, you will actually apply before final grades are in anyway.

Really? That makes me feel a lot more at ease.
