I’m still waiting to hear from local schools but I’m more than excited to know I’m in at Long Beach!

Got in, transferring from Palomar CC with a 3.2 as a journalism major. Got accepted two weeks ago! Good luck

Just got my acceptance email today! Transferring from Mt San Jacinto College in Menifee with a 3.2, got into the FEA-Narrative Production Major. Feeling pretty accomplished!

What I’m curious about is the interview to get into the option…I thought there was one for the Narrative Production?

I was accepted to the same film program and saw no indication that there was going to be an interview. I’m confused about this as well.

I was accepted today too but under theory and practice and I applied under production without a second option. I called admissions and they couldn’t give me an answer except that there was some issue with narrative majors and the department changed my major so I was accepted under theory but they had no idea why they did that.
I called the department and was instructed to leave a message, still waiting to hear back.
The theory options requires no portfolio or interview so they just send those out like that. I’m hoping I get an answer soon since I’m not really too excited about this at the moment.

I got accepted Friday into the Narrative Production option. I too, thought we had to go for an interview before we found out and so i am really confused. I called and left a message but nobody got back to me. I am going to call again Monday and if I get an answer I will let you guys know. The FEA department seems to be easier to reach when your call is transferred straight from COTA rather than the number directly.

Yeah let us know when you find out.
