Does anybody know when the new bulletin is coming out so we can begin planning our schedules and choose classes/professors?

it's already up...http://www.college.columbia.edu/bulletin/

when you click on the subject and look under course listings, they're there for fall 2005

Thanks for the link. I guess it's not possible though to plan our schedules cause we don't know yet when (what day/time) we're going to be scheduled for university writing -- or do we have a choice?

Is there a printed version? It's hard to browse for random interest classes online.

one of the current students at the academic advising session said we get the hardcopy during orientation.

You will be assigned a time for UW and LitHum. But, you can plan your schedule in a general way with some alternative choices, using the online schedule of courses. If there is a true scheduling conflict -- say a prerequisite for your intended major or a class that's not offered every year -- you can ask to switch your core curriculum class.

But, there will also be time during orientation week to meet with your advisor and figure out your classes. The first few weeks of the semester are considered a shopping period. It's easy to drop or add. Don't worry about it.
