Also, slinky, how and what are you writing for the New York Times

you are already in a school, why do you want safety?

*GED will be finished after completion of Fall semester. Major requirements will be completed after Spring 06' semester.

Have you guys started your UC Application Essays yet? I've yet to complete the first question which is like the shortest/easiest one! I really need to start on my personal essay. Where do you guys get help for this?

Some posters are 1) transferring from a community college or 2) so utterly disgusted with the college that they're currently at that they really couldn't stand the thought of staying there for four years. Thus, some of us have to have safteties as staying at our current institutions isn't an option.

Also, if you know what colleges you're applying to, then go to their websites and find the page for transfer admission and you should be able to find out the deadline for applications. Some have March deadlines, some have April and even May deadlines.

Yeah. I agree with ScoobyGurl, I don't want to finish my schooling here, at my current school I mean, which is why I'm applying ot UIllinois as a safety.

highschoolda, you got into UCI, UCSD & UCSB out of highschool? What made you choose to attend SMC besides the fact that you want to be a Bruin? Most would have chosen otherwise.
