Fall 2006 Transfer Applications!

financial reasons.... I will have to take huge loans... Hopefully in 2 years i'll get to Pharm school which costs 30K a year for 4 years...

Living at home will save me a bunch.

In that case, I hope you get in!

u guys can have my cornell spot.

I am applying to

Brown
U Penn
Columbia
Duke (previously accepted)
Northwestern (previously accepted)
Dartmouth

^^ why you want out of cornell?

Yay! I want that Cornell spot! Gimme and I won't apply to Penn or Brown. Promise!

I'm looking to transfer out of the California CC I'm in now and into University of Washington.

Major: Computer Science/Mathematics
Current GPA: 4.0 - 32 Semester Units so far

Hooks? I'm ex-military, married, work 3/4 time. Not sure if any of those are hooks I could use or not.

i hear that one can apply as a primary major and an alternative major to UCLA if they're on the honors program. how would we go about this?

[hoping highschoolda would now haha]

Kevin,
I am not in TAP, so i don't know for sure. But from what i heard u get automaticly considered for alternative major if check the honors program.

Don't take my word for it though. :)

hey guys. I have been wondering how to fill in a PDF form online if the maker of this PDF form doesn't enable this function. Could anyone answer this question for me?

Currently, I'm trying to fill out some transfer application forms.

You can't, you have to print it.

Has anyone received the paper applications for Fall 2006 yet? I filled out the online form for the mailing list at each of the colleges I'm interested in but I have receieved any applications yet.

I haven't received one for wm yet

uhh this thread was created first.

newbyreborn - bball wants out of Cornell because he wants to be at school with a higher average SAT.

May his spot go to somebody who cares about academics!

Wow, that really sucks

Nice. As I said earlier, I want it!

yeah, that's part of it, and the incredible amount of transfers that cornell seems to take, which waters down the Cornell degree.

Waters down? It means all the more to the likes of me, who want to go to Cornell.

um...i have nothing against transfer students, but it seems like it is a joke to get into some schools at cornell as a transfer, while it isn't the case as a freshman.

so i found out that tap people get alternative major consideration if they get rejected for their primary major!
