It looks like the berkeley responses are coming. This website shows that that a bunch of rejection showed up on 2/14 through email, how thoughtful.

Have MIT and Stanford sent out all the acceptances they are going to or have they only sent out acceptances to people getting funding?

On GradCafe it seems they sent out a bunch of acceptances early last week but nothing since and the few people that have called have said they had been rejected…

My brother, who went to the previously-referred-to Rice recruitment weekend last weekend, just heard from UCLA grad EECS-- accepted. Still waiting to hear from MIT, Stanford, UW.

rogracer: Wow your son is like my twin… same school, same minor and we’re within about 5% on every “stat” except I am more of a devices guy. I probably know him!

To floopydrive: You asked about ga tech in another thread and I would like to second your question because I have heard absolutely NADA from their camp for MS/PhD EE, which is sad because I really had my heart set on going there and I have been informally guaranteed funding at the alma mater.

To ghettonomics: Are you applying to masters or PhD programs? Plus, have you done any research? I’m curious to see; my GPA will be somewhat similar by the time I apply to grad school.

PhD at the lower ranked schools and Masters at the higher ranked.

No research experience, but about 4 years of industry experience (worked though my undergrad) and solid Statement of Purpose and Letters of Recommendations.
