I get to register for classes on Monday, April 7. I will register as if I'm not in the program, and then make the switches needed later. :)

Well, I had my schedule set for a while, but one of my professors wants to offer a new course, which I'm interested in but can only take if enough people express interest in it.
Right now, my schedule is: (14 hours)
TR Anthropological Theory 9:30-10:45
TR Stats for social science majors 11-12:15

However, should the other class come available, I'm not sure what time it will be offered so I will probably have to drop one of the non-anthro. classes (probably concepts).

A lot of things starting with bio-:
biochemistry
biogeography (it's one of the upper level bio electives, and I thought it sounded easy)
biomechanics
assessment techniques for health science
basic athletic training

I'm not sure yet. But this is what I'm likely going to take:

*HIST 283 - Environmental Histories of South Asia
*HIST 121 - Middle Eastern and North African History, Rise of Islam to 1800
*either HIST 273 - Globalization & Capitalism or HIST 180 - Global Environmental History
*either POLT 227 - War, Weapons, and Arms Control, or POLT 310 - Seminar: Failed States
*then a fifth class...either ECON 101, Comparative Literature, Intermediate Arabic, or a class on Energy and Society

hops_scout....good luck getting into your AT program!! two of my roommates are in the program here and they absolutely love it!

i think next spring i'm taking the basic AT course here (not the same as the intro course the actual AT students take) just to have the experience. i know that the health/fitness mgmt, phys ed, and exercise science majors here have to take the basic AT course in order to graduate---it can never hurt to know basic injuries and basic taping!

hops - I second the good luck! We don't actually have an AT program at my school - there's just 2 random athletic training courses that the sports medicine doctors teach. Having worked with some of these guys already at events, I think athletic training/sports med is pretty interesting and kind of wish we had a program in it...

Econ 101a - Advanced Microeconomics
Econ 110 - Game Theory
Chem 135 - Chemical Biology
BioE 115 - Cell Biology Laboratory for Engineers
IB 131 - General Human Anatomy

this is what im planning so far, ill post again when i see how it acutally goes when i register on the 16th! (and itll probably be 1/2 by the fall anyway)

PULSE (combined philosophy/theology class, 6 credits with an 8-10 hour a week service requirement) MW 12-12:50 F 11- 12:50
Intro to Business Law W 5:15- 7:30
Elements of Dance TTH 1:30- 2:50
Math for Management TTH 4:30-5:45

not that much time in class =)
but then i have my PULSE service and a workstudy so ill be pretty jampacked during that freetime anway. i hope registration goes well!
