Oh my gosh congratulations you guys! Muhlissa grats!

I'm still awaiting my decision for dance....i'm so nervous, i feel like this is going in the pits!
I really hope they get it to me soon!
I have no idea what i'm going to do if I dont get in. All my other schools, i can't imagine myself there...

Congrats though. :) You guys are awesome, hope i see everyone there this fall...

I'm sure you'll be fine shineovershadows I mean, you wouldn't have applied if you didn't think you had a decent shot at gettin in. Besides, some majors take longer to process, so I am sure you have nothing to worry about and besides, you may just suprise yourself. I truthfully did not think I would be accepted to the PR/A program I mean, I knew I had a shot but I was not expecting to get in and when you are finally accepted, well it's a really good feeling :-)

shineovershadows, I am sure your going to be just fine getting in! I believe Chapman really does pay attention to who feels that Chapman is really going to be their school. I can tell you are just like me, you feel you belong there, and I think Chapman really and truly does see that! Dance majors take a longer time to process, I think. My friend auditioned in December for the early decision and she still doesn't know. Art majors definately take longer to process (thats because we go an extra mile to apply!) Your going to be fine, take deep breaths!! :)

Hey, has anyone who applied for Film Production gotten accepted yet? I know it takes longer for them to decide whether or not you get into Dodge College, but I figured they'd let me know whether or not I got accepted to Chapman by the 15th.

From what I understand, Dodge tends to inform people right before the deadline. You should probably know today or tomorrow! They have to inform you by tomorrow! Best of luck to you! My friend is applying there and he is really nervous as well!

I got in! I am a little confused though - it says I was accepted for the BA in theatre...which I haven't auditioned for yet. anyone else in the same boat?

Hey guys, thanks for all your assurances...and congrats to Hollylove!

I'm still waiting for the decision, but I just found out that UC Irvine's dance audition is next weekend...I wasn't going to go, because I was supposed to have found out about Chapman by now. But I guess I have no choice. =(

Thanks for all the support, you guys are awesome!

does anyone know if theater applicants are considered for early action (since the processes is longer)?
also, is it rolling admissions or is it bad if i didn't get a notification on web adviser yet?

GOT ACCEPTED TODAY FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS!!!! Really Excited

Cazzie: From what I understand Theatre might take a little longer to process, also I dont think it matters. Some people found out a few days ago and mine only came up today. Also if I remember from last year it took some people a while to find out they were accepted.

technel, I was browsing Chapman's admission blog, "Chappenings" and I stumbled across a comment someone made in regards to early admission decision for Dodge College. One of the admissions counselors said that they are getting the dance, film, and art applications as fast as they can. So hang tight!! :)

heh, it's like -500 here in MN, so we haven't had school for two days, so I have basically been refreshing WebAdvisor waiting for news! I really hope I don't have to wait until next week.

hahahahaha ... I was reading chappenings and in the comments:

[quote] Comment 1: This may sound silly, but does "Admission Approved" mean I got in? Thanks in advance!

Comment 2: Indeed it does; in fact, I remember your file. Congrats and great job on your application (actually, I'd like to extend that compliment to everyone that applied - really good applicants this year)! Mail will shortly follow, Greg.

In this same comment conversation, on Feb. 29, 2008, a film student says he still hasn't heard back, and the adcom responds that they are still reviewing the applicants. I hope I don't have to wait until March, wow!

technel, where in Mn are you from?. I'm from Wi. and we also have had 2 days off because as you wrote-the temps are in the MINUS stage. I applied for screenwriting. This waiting sucks. Congrats to all who are in, and good luck to us who are still trying to get in. Anyone here also apply to LMU?

The waiting for a decision has been hard, but finallly my son's admission status changed to "accepted" Friday. Now he has to decide between Chapman (PR/Advertising) and Emerson (Marketing Communications). Any advice for comparing the two?
