Fall 2009 acceptance letters

Hey there -
whats your major and are you a transfer? I know I’m trying for Film Production as a transfer and I heard we don’t hear anything til at least the 15th of April to the beginning of May…not sure if this applies to you or not…but I wish you the best of luck!

Okay yea, you and I are pretty much the same in academics hahah. Hopefully I got what you got and not a direct rejection!! Congrats though! I’m super happy for you! Where else did you apply?

I have to ask if you got “Decision Complete” and are on academic probation, do you still have the opportunity of receiving an award?

I’m not on academic probation (haven’t received my fate in the mail yet), I’m just curious.

I’m a transfer and still waiting.
My materials have been fully completed and received since mid-February.
I don’t feel like I’ll ever hear back.
And are transfers even eligible for financial awards?

The merit awards are for incoming freshman only. There are 3 levels and they are based on a formula using gpa and SAT scores, relying more on the SAT score. Even with the lowest level merit award ($14,000) coa is almost $51,000. Loans are harder to come by this year and who in their right mind wants to come out of college with a very large debt? Those of you on waitlists just hold on because there will probably be quite a few students who will have to decline admission based on lack of financial aid.

I got waitlisted! That’s so much better than a no

nrfoster7 - I’m trying to transfer for film as well. Yeah, don’t expect to hear much til May or later most likely. The wait is horrible!

i applied as transfer for the film production major and i’m going crazy waiting for the decision alkduhflekjahfklja is there a scholarship we can apply for this major??
and does anyone know the chances of a transfer dorming?
