And I’ve talked to the department head of linguistics at Columbia which will be some pull.

Reason transferring: My college does not have the program I want to study(Linguistics)

… you know that columbia doesn’t have a linguistics major, right?

[Applied Linguistics at Teachers College, Columbia University](Applied Linguistics & TESOL | Arts & Humanities | Teachers College, Columbia University)

you linked to one of the graduate schools, and it wasn’t pure linguistics anyway.

20 sticks. I didnt received any.

yep, on the financial aid email said “our decision will officially be released on the 15th”

violaghost and gobacktoschool2005: Did you apply for financial aid?

^
rite, I do have that email. Dont be panic. It’s useless, comon, it’s Columbia! I will just wait in peace.

i love sarkozy.

dudess… the physic’s exam was ok but no Columbia mail mate…
The 15th is just too far

The concentration is under the leadership of Alan Timberlake, he is also the head of the Slavic Studies Department. It is taught by around 5 teachers, and is a viable course of study at Columbia. I also applied under Slavic Studies, but with an interest in their linguistics program.

All decisions will be released on the same date for all applicants and by May 15th.

While, there is not set date, it is very likely you will hear around May 5th.
