hey do you guys know what the essays are for the transfer application? I'm thinking of applying...

Have you guys checked the status of your apps? If so, have your college transcripts been received? I sent mine awhile ago, but it says it has yet to be received/processed.

I was going to apply to GS because that was an automatic in for me, but the financial aid just wasn't there. So... I've applied to Columbia! Good luck everyone!

My CSS profile hasn't been received, and I sent it on Feb 12th. I sent my recs on the 27th, and they haven't been processed either.

Ah. Yeah, I sent my transcripts in late January, so they should definitely be there, especially since my high school ones have been received. I guess I'll have to give them a call.

There has to be a bigger thread than this. But anyways, a solid group of fellas here. Really looking forward to the journey.

Sent my app earlier tonight. Feeling uneasy. But I'm happy it's done =).

CAS physics ftw

Lmao, wrong thread...

CAS Music here. App is done - best of luck to all!

Applying as a sophomore transfer to Columbia College. Good luck everyone!

hey does anyone know when the css and fafsa is due for columbia for transfers?

Sophomore to CC as well.
Good luck friends.

It's good to hear you were motivated enough to apply, gunnar! Best of luck

Thanks Duper. That means a lot. I wish you the best of luck with this process.
Where else did ya apply to?
I also applied to NYU.

Cornell and Penn here.

I am also applying to the University of Chicago.

I'm pretty sure CSS and FAFSA deadlines are 4/20 (weed day =] )

Yep, I'm right. See sidebar here:

Cornell + Rice. Woo.

I would say low shot since Columbia puts a lot of emphasis on HS and SATs, but anything's possible.
