When does registration begin for fall 2009 courses for incoming freshman?

It’s my understand that it’s at SOAR. More info here:

Apparantly there is some delay in enabling SOAR registration. I’ve been monitoring this:

hey, I’m not able to make it to soar. Is this ok or do I HAVE to go to this? Will I be behind in registration? Will I still be able to get classes?

Soar is not mandatory and you don’t actually register there, they just help you get ready to register and give you your class schedule. Freshmen begin registering 8/18. Here’s a link with all the days and times:

I agree with kristeeroxx. SOAR will acquaint you with registering for your classes.
There may be some other things you can take care of when you go to SOAR like get your POLYCard, checkout your assigned dorm, talk to any department staff of your major, how to register your bike, how to register your computer, finalize your meal plan, rent a refrigerator, findout where the financial aid office is.
